Introducing OpenTrack's Display Management Screen
A consolidated way to set up competition display is a powerful new addition to our suite of management tools
OpenTrack’s management screens give organisers full control over their competitions, and it’s now easier than ever to manage how your competition looks.

Take a Trip to the Documentation
We’ve been hard at work recently improving the competition management experience for organisers, streamlining and consolidating how you can use OpenTrack.
As part of our most recent changes, we’ve added an entirely new management screen — the display management screen — grouping together all the settings that decide how your competition looks.
The New Display Management Screen
The new display management screen sits between the existing Competition Details and Entry Configuration screens, and is split into two sections — Homepage Display, which determines what is shown on the competition homepage, and Results Display, for deciding how start lists and results should be presented.
Homepage Display
Grouped into helpful sections, Homepage Display offers the option to link to external sources, show or hide a competitor lists and results, and much more.
Results Display
To control what displays in results and start lists, the settings inside Results Display give all the options you need, whether it’s showing World Athletics points or controlling non-scorers.
Additional Management Improvements
Beyond the addition of the Display screen, recent improvements have been made to almost all OpenTrack management screens.
Check in and call room settings now have a new home on the Events and Scoring management screen, with the advanced event configuration page getting a good tidy up as well.
The Entry Configuration management screen has also benefitted from a major rework with competition organisers in mind, and each configuration option is now grouped intuitively with similar fields.
Take a Trip to the Documentation
All of the changes mentioned here, whether the new display management screen, or other changes, can be found detailed in our documentation.
You can also access the specific documentation for the management screen you are looking at by clicking the HELP DOCS button in blue on the right-hand side of your screen.
We’re continuing to make improvements to these screens, and would be delighted to hear any thoughts you might have as we carry on working hard to improve the OpenTrack competition management experience!
